6. Daniel is made one of the governors in Darius’ administration. There were people plotting against Daniel and made the king sign a decree saying that anyone praising other gods or man should be thrown into a den of a lion. Daniel is thrown into the den of lions when he’s found worshipping God. He’s left in the den of lions to be saved by his God. He’s found alive the next morning, and Darius refers to Daniel as the servant of the living God. Those who’d accused him and their families are thrown into the den and are killed. Darius rules that all people must honor the God of Daniel.
