4. Ezekiel represented Jerusalem with a tile and used models of a fort and an iron pan to represent the forthcoming siege by the enemies. God commanded Ezekiel to lie on his left side for 390 days and on his right side for 40 days. During this period, Ezekiel would eat the worst types of grain and cook bread over dung to signify the scarcity of fuel, provision, and necessities during the attack on Jerusalem.
