Chapter 32

32. During the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem, word comes to Jeremiah. Jeremiah is imprisoned, but God tells him to buy a field in Anathoth through his cousin Hanameel. This is a sign that God would gather his people and redeem them after their captivity. An everlasting covenant will be made.
