Ahaziah rules Judah and does not follow the Lord. He joins with Jehoram, king of Israel, to attack Syria. He is killed by Jehu after killing Jehoram to wipe out Ahab’s house. His mother, Athaliah, kills all the heirs and becomes the Queen of Judah. Jehoshabeath, Jeohoram’s daughter and the wife of the priest Jehoiada, saves Joash.
