Ammon and Moab attack Judah and a fast is imposed throughout Judah. Judah comes together to ask for help from the Lord, with Jehoshaphat leading the prayers. God assures them of victory, and they rejoice, and singers are selected to accompany the army. Victory and many spoils are secured. Jehoshaphat allies himself with Ahaziah, the king of Israel, to build ships to travel to Tarnish. God destroys all the ships.
