Jehoshaphat allied in marriage with Ahab of Israel plan to attack Syria. Four hundred Israeli prophets predict success, but Micaiah predicts disaster. Micaiah says the other prophets are lying but is instead imprisoned. Ahab and Jehoshaphat go into war at Ramoth Gilead, and Jehoshaphat is rescued by his men while Ahab is injured and later dies.
