Emperor Cyprus of Persia allows and helps Judah rebuild Jerusalem and the temple. This is in accordance with Jeremiah’s prophecy. Cyrus proclaims that he has been to all the kingdoms of the earth by the Lord. The temple items are returned, led by Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
