The Philistines fought against Israel at Mount Gilboa, where the Israelites fled and Saul’s sons were killed. Saul falls on his sword, and the Philistines invade Israel. Saul’s head and amour are placed in Dagon’s temple as his body is rescued by Jabesh Gilead men and buried. Saul died for consulting a medium and not keeping the word of God.
