Athaliah, Ahaziah’s mother, kills all Ahaziah’s heirs and reigns. Jehoshena, King Joram’s daughter, saves Joash, Ahaziah’s son. After six years, Jehoiada reveals Joash and proclaims him as king when he’s seven years. Jehoiada orders Athaliah’s death, and Baal worshipping is banned.
