The sones of the prophet build themselves a bigger house. While cutting down a tree on river Jordan, the axe falls into the water and Elisha throws a stick into the water, and the axe floats. Elisha warns the king of Israel about divinely inspired espionage, so the king plans to kidnap him. Elisha, together with Israel, is protected by chariots of fire and a mountain of horses. The king of Samaria is angry at Elisha after Samaria is besieged by Ben-Hadad and goes after his head.
