Elisha performs miracles, and a widow’s jar of oil is filled with a lot of oil which she sells to pay debts and prevent her sons from being forced into slavery. A barren Shunammite woman is promised a son after offering Elisha hospitality. The son is born but accidentally killed in a harvest, but Elisha brings him back to life. He also multiplies twenty loaves to feed a hundred men.
