Korah, Dathan, and Abirahim rebel against Moses and claim all are holy, not just Moses and Aaron. Angered by this, God destroys the rebels, opening the ground to swallow the defectors. Fourteen thousand seven hundred men die from a plague from God and are stopped when Aaron intercedes with a sacrifice.
