God tells Moses that He will harden Pharaoh's heart so that he can multiply His wonders. Moses and Aaron go to Pharaoh, where Moses turns the staff into a snake. However, Pharaoh's magicians perform the same miracle/trick, but Aaron's serpent devours all the others. River Nile turns to blood and is polluted. Pharaoh's heart is further hardened.
